The Network has been established to counteract the unacceptable rise in repossessions in the UK.
The Founding Directors have experienced the fear of imminent repossession themselves and understand the range of feelings and consequences associated with such an event.
The Mortgage Rescue Network, probably for the first time, brings together a coalition of Long Term Property Investors, including rent-back and repossession specialists, as well as FSA Authorised Mortgage Brokers, Letting Agents, Estate Agents and Debt Councillors.
The Mortgage Rescue Network operates a national training and accreditation scheme for landlords who are involved in Sale and Rent Back transactions.
The scheme includes a rigorous Code of Conduct, aimed at protecting tenants' rights, as well as reinforcing best practice and providing stability for landlords.
As you may be aware, sale and rent back activity is now regulated by the Financial Services Authority. We at Mortgage Rescue Network strongly support the efforts by the FSA to raise the industry standards with a view to ensuring that you (our clients and partners) get the best advice and your interests are fully protected. You will therefore always be appropriately advised about the suitability of a sale and rent back transaction considering your needs and circumstances by one of the FSA authorised persons/ firms who you will be introduced to by us.
